Austin AI Hub is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 and headquartered in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to democratize artificial intelligence education and build an inclusive community where everyone — regardless of technical background, income, or experience — can learn, connect, and grow. We serve 500+ members including software engineers, data scientists, product managers, educators, healthcare professionals, small business owners, students, and retirees.
Austin is one of the fastest-growing technology hubs in the United States. Austin AI Hub exists to ensure that the benefits of AI are not limited to those already inside the tech industry. AI After Hours
Austin AI Hub's flagship recurring evening gathering connecting Austin's AI ecosystem through relaxed, inclusive networking at venues across the city. Each event brings together researchers, startup founders, enterprise leaders, students, and newcomers. Regularly draws 80–150 participants per gathering.
AI for All Series
Hands-on educational workshops making artificial intelligence accessible to everyone regardless of technical background. Build AI agents from scratch, master prompt engineering, and automate workflows — no coding experience required. Led by PhD researchers and senior AI engineers.
AI Innovation Challenge
Recurring competition series bringing together builders from across disciplines to solve real-world problems using AI. Teams receive mentorship from industry experts and access to compute resources. Winners receive prizes and visibility with Austin's investor community.
Chai Chat Mentorship
Free one-on-one mentorship platform connecting AI learners with experienced practitioners. Features AI-powered Sonder Match for mentor-mentee pairing. Coming soon.
AI for Social Good
Impact-driven program channeling AI expertise toward social challenges. Partners with anti-trafficking organizations including redM, Sentinel Foundation, and Magdalene House of Austin. Intern team develops AI-powered content tools to support anti-trafficking awareness on social media, with human-in-the-loop review for ethical standards.
